Description

Second edition of the well-illustrated primer on Tesla Coils and other high voltage devices using electricity by scientist and performer Henry L Transtrom

Transtrom , Henry L. Electricity At High Pressures and Frequencies. Joseph G Branch Publishing Company : Chicago. 1921. Second edition.

Scarce second edition of Electricity at High Pressures and Frequencies by Henry L Transtrom , the noted inventor and stage performer who made a name for himself with his electrical displays of Tesla Coils and other devices. His stunts such as lighting a light bulb in his mouth (pictured) inspired other sideshow acts and led to false urban legends about his death on stage in a performance gone wrong. This book still serves as a popular resource for home experimenters and Tesla Coil enthusiasts in modern reprints.
