A Spiritualist minister’s account and record of her continued communications with her son Byron, who died in 1939 aged 16, through the aid of noted physical medium Rev. Lula Taber and her spirit guide, Star Bright, whose spirit photograph portrait is also featured in the text’s opening pages. Through his messages from the spirit world, Byron provides both comfort to his mother and a guide to the experience of death.
Although no publisher or place of publication is provided, the text is vested in the still extent Spiritualist community of Lily Dale, New York, including an introduction from the editor of the local occult newspaper of the period, The Psychic Observer.
