Authored by Prof. William Madsen, professor of anthropology at UC Santa Barbara, noted for his fieldwork studying Mexican religious beliefs, with numerous photographs taken during his time in Mexico as well as numerous stories of modern sorcery and spiritual cures with commentary and explanations of witchcraft formulas.
