Issue of the late underground comix anthology Arcade edited by Maus creator Art Speigelman and Zippy the Pinhead creator Bill Griffith. This issue features Frosty the Snowman comics and cover from R Crumb as well as work by Justin Green, Griffith, Speigelman, Gilbert Shelton, Rory Hayes, Aline Kominsky and others, as well as reprinted early 20th century comic strips.

Notably, this issue also contains “Fun City in Ba’dan” an original short story by William S Burroughs (later included as part of his 1981 novel Cities of the Red Night) illustrated by S Clay Wilson. Wilson and Burroughs would also collaborate on the collection, Tornado Alley (1989).

This copy signed by Spain Rodriguez on his contribution, “Stalin”, a graphic treatment of the life and career of the USSR leader.
