Description

Scarce Dutch Theosophy Publication of “The Inner Government of the World” by Annie Besant as “De innerlijke regeering der wereld” from 1933

Besant, Annie. De innerlijke regeering der wereld. Theosophische Vereeniging. Amsterdam. 1933.

Translation of the 1921 essay “The Inner Government of the World” by Annie Besant published and distributed by Dutch Theosophy group Theosophische Vereeniging, Nederlandsche Afdeling  as part of their still running publication series Theosophia (interestingly, famed Dutch abstract painter Piet Mondrian was a member of the TVNA during the height of Theosophy’s influence in the Netherlands). The essay includes details on the secret teachers who rule the world and guide mankind’s evolution according to Theosophical doctrine.

One copy found in OCLC as of December 2023.

53pp. Perfect bound in faded printed grey paper wraps. Corners bumped and worn with wrap creasing. Some wear and soiling to edges. Some spotting to textblock and pages. Mostly clean. Good.
