Description

Grow Rich With Peace Of Mind by Napoleon Hill . Hawthorn Books : New York, 1967. First edition, First printing, March 1967.

Scarce first edition in dust jacket of Napoleon Hill ‘s 1967 bestseller Grow Rich With Peace of Mind. The sequel to his world famous 1937 book “Think and Grow Rich”, this text attempts to update Hill’s earlier positive thinking and law of attraction philosophies with the wisdom he had gained over the subsequent decades. One of the most notable changes is the open admission of quasi-Theosophical beliefs and semi-spiritualist practices by Hill who credits his success and “much of this book upon a revelation from the Great School of Masters.”

Although a similar thread appeared in “Think and Grow Rich” advising the reader to imagine conversations with various mentors, here the author includes the purported transcription of New Thought-style lessons channeled from “The Master”.

Hill’s emphasis on autosuggestion and self-hypnosis in subsequent chapters appear to couch this claim in consensus reality, however, he promises that the application of these principles can change circumstances, improve fortune, and support one’s plans through synchronicity.
