This issue includes “I Quit” by Abbie Hoffman, originally published in Win, and “China Thru A Panther’s Eye” by Huey Newton, as well as a review of the 1970 film “Five Easy Pieces” from radical feminist Pam Kearon and comics by Frank Smith, Bill Francis, and Richard Corben. There is also an invitation to what would become the first Rainbow Gathering in Colorado in 1972. The publication would go on to earn an honorable mention at the Robert F Kennedy Journalism Awards the same year.
