Anderson, Sheridan. The Award Winning 1974 Sheridan Anderson Abominable Mountaineering Calendar. Summit. Big Bear Lake, CA. 1973.

Original, surreal calendar by noted mountaineer, fly fisherman, outdoorsman, author and illustrator Sheridan Anderson (1939 – 1984) with the months arranged alphabetically for “convenience”. McKinley as well as a faux advertisement for the WWII German amphetamine pervitin along with many other gags. Anderson, who died in 1984, remains best remembered for his famous Curtis Creek Manifesto, an entertaining, illustrated humorous guide to the sport and lifestyle of fly fishing, released in 1976.
