Well-preserved early printing of Norman Mailer’s “superficial reflections on the hipster” republished from Dissent Magazine with response essays from Jean Malaquais and Ned Polsky, along with Mailer’s responses.

This second printing of the first edition is distinguishable from the true first issue by its revised price of 50 cents as opposed to the original 35 cents.

[27]pp. Staple bound in printed card wraps. Wrap toned with minor wear and some foxing. Sunning to back wrap. Edges toned with foxing. Pages clean. Very good.
