One of 500 limited hardcover copies of Tornado Alley by William Burroughs  published simultaneously with the softcover edition including original illustrations by the late noted underground comic artist S. Clay Wilson. Known for his violent, sexual art and fascination with bikers, pirates, and other outsiders and outlaws, Wilson’s art is a perfect match for Burroughs’ unique mind and literary themes. The book is dedicated “To John Dillinger/ In hope he is still alive”. Large extracts of the work (a collection of short stories and poetry) were later read by Burroughs for his album Dead City Radio, released in 1990.
