Well-preserved issue of Workforce, the underground magazine of Vocations For Social Change, a socially conscious career network  founded in 1967. Includes an article on Gay Librarianship by prominent activist Barbara Gittings written during her work with the American Library Association with details including the creation of a Gay Book Award and the beginnings of a formal gay bibliography. Also includes lists of resources, relevant classifieds, and numerous underground comics and associated imagery including work by R Crumb and Ron Cobb.

48pp, staple bound folio. Printed pink paper wraps. Corners bumped. Reading creases. Minor soiling back wrap. Staple holes and stamps from past mailing. Some wear lower edge. Pages toned but clean. Very good condition.
